The Panjabi Centre is pleased to be able to offer places on our PEARLS training course, the course is for women and offers training in Radio skills, including research, recording, presenting and production.
The course is financially supported by the London Development Agency and operates on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 11am and 4pm over a twelve-week period at The Panjabi Centres training premises in Sussex Road, Southall. We are able to pay for travel and childcare costs.
Experienced trainers lead the courses from the Women’s Radio Group and you can achieve qualifications and recognition for your learning.
Go Desi is a training and volunteering opportunity for young people aged between 16 and 26yrs old. Supported by V the national agency that supports young volunteers in the UK, we are offering training in radio production skills followed by a chance to volunteer at Desi Radio 1602am! We can support your travel costs and refreshments are provided.
